They got greedy, now they are trying to cut their losses while other holders are getting out due to fear of BK and also because retail investors don't know the difference between different types of prefs, and, If they do suspend the pref dividends, anyone holding for income is going elsewhere.On the business side, does mom and pop customer care of even know about all this. I doubt it. All they will see is that their sales rep has been replaced and still visits, but for Investors group.
