The NHL's disasterous attempt to move hockey from Canadian cities into large US cities that were already saturated with pro sports, almost destroyed itself. That idea was lead by Mr. Betman. A man who is currently earning over 8 million dollar a year for what he does, is telling people that the players are earning to much.
The NHL saved itself orginally negociating a deal to lower the players wages and burdening fans with ever increasing ticket prices. The NHL was realizing some good years with record profits and some fairly high paid players. Now Betman wants 10 million a year. How to do that??
Don't get me wrong, I think that the players wages need to be addressed but not by a little p...k who is making over 8 million a year. I fell strongly that both Tellier and Betman have been over paid for years and have not been held accountable for their actions.
