Stock cheap

Shouldn't somebody be looking to take this company out for a song.  Decent properties and good production with the right team.  Any thoughts?

Almost immpossible for a "song"...... too many large shareholders, smart money people.....YNG "Queenstake"  historically did 300K oz. of Au per year..... a lot of people don't realize....that these days are not "quick flip days" All jr. miners are in the pits ....even ones with good cash flow and money in the bank. These large, smart shareholders better be hoping for a market turn in pretty short order or YNG will have to find money again somewhere. I personally believe they've going to have to do a JV or get someone to buy them to stay afloat.  They're losing money and giving most of their gold away to DB.

Would have been happy to hold for a couple of years if I felt the business was financially secure. To clarify, in H1 2012 we had two loss making quarters and that's largely due to the gold forward purchase agreement meaning 11,950 oz of gold production was delivered to debtees.  In H2 2012, 37,979 oz are due for delivery to debtees.  Even taking into account increased production, it ...more

Combo,  I think your observations are spot on.  It's going to be very difficult for these guys to make any money with all the ounces owed to DB and others.  Of course we don't know where the POG is going or when money could come back into the mining sector, but short of a big move higher in the juniors I don't know how it would help YNG significantly anyway.
