Stunned

I am happy with recent stock trending upwards and making money- however WHY in the blue hell would Management make the atm announcement 2 days back after a fantastic day of movement. Really shocking that they would do that , flabbergasted actually

To clear the debt on the balanace sheet. Good move long term, since the eliminate the interest payments and drive up cashflow! The amount of cash they will produce per share will easily make up for the dilution.

If it was clear that money was going to be used to pay down debt then it makes sense. However, this will be used for corporate purposes. Knowing managements track record, it equates to salaries and bonuses.

This requires patience. You can't expect the sector to go up everyday! On the bright side, there are a lot of tailwinds coming in the sector. The debt situation is getting resolved and sales are growing. I don't foresee huge gains, but steady towards the $250-300M market cap.

Are you referring to yourself? Please explain your logic and rational? Bankruptcy is off the table now, they got new financeing, and the business is producing cash.
Comment by truthseeker1 on Feb 11, 2021 4:44pm
i assume your talking about another stock here correct;; because zena is not producing cash and there still have servere debt
Comment by Morningcoffee on Feb 11, 2021 4:56pm

Not true. They reported a Q3 net EBITDA of $3.5M, which should steadily increase in Q4 from higher sales and improve in Q1 with slighty lower interest expenses. Debt still remains a problem, although it has improved.   As I mentioned to the other "guy". Very few players actually produce decent quality stuff. Large LPs have to rely on B2B sales just to maintain market share. If Zena ...more

Everyone keeps touting the revenue but keep in mind that previous revenue included the propagation business of Bevo which accounted for a large percentage of quarterly earnings. They will no longer have this revenue stream in future quarters. The bright side is they've halved their debt and are now a pure cannabis play. Time will tell how they grow this business now with Shai at the helm ...more

1) Bottom line is a 17M net loss?? Wrong, an accounting loss!! CF was neutral, though that should improve with increasing sales and lower capex.  2) I am referring to the ones that produce consistenly with high THc and terpene levels. Fire is not even remotly close in that category, though admittedly Zena is not the best cultivator themselves. Growers that can successfully operate under ...more
