We met with one of our financial advisors and he indicated they can't purchase pot stocks, unless requested by the client and it fits their risk tolerance ,  until it's legalized.  He suggested what charactoristics they would be looking for in the companies, existing formal supply arrangements, performance to-date, etc.  He figures cannabis stocks will do well in general but he cautioned, pick wisely.
