I agree that if he was trying to time a longer term investment in TBE waiting till after the dividend and trying to get the stock 3% cheaper, while missing the 1%, this is a smart strategy. My point was he you try to buy in and out every month around the dividend, while trying to time the market, you will lose more than you win. But if this strategy has worked for him even better. I am excited for these upcoming energy conferences, TBE has always had a good impact on sp with this exposure. NAV still 2.75ish and dividend should be closer to 8% if not lower, so this stock grinds back to 2.25. And yes I agree $800 wont go far in Vegas, just an old investing quote I like......although if you put it all on black!
