The principal activities of the Company and its subsidiaries are gold exploration, mine operations and sale of gold in West Africa, specifically Cote d’Ivoire and Liberia. The Company is focused on developing its Abujar Gold project in Cote d’Ivoire. The Abujar Gold Project is located approximately 30 kilometers (km) from the major regional city of Daloa in central western Cote D’Ivoire. The Abujar Gold Project comprises three contiguous exploration tenements: Middle, South and North tenement, with a total land area of approximately 1,114 square kilometers (km2). It features an NNE-orientated gold corridor over 70 kilometer (km) striking across three tenements. Abujar has a mineral resource of approximately 3.83 million ounces of gold and ore reserves of 1.69 Moz. Abujar is approximately 30 km from the regional city of Daloa and is close to regional and local infrastructure including grid electricity.
