Yesterday, the US Department of Energy announced a new US$3B program going towards battery manufacturing and supply chains to support the transition to electric vehicles which Infinity Stone Ventures ($GEMS.c) is solidly positioned to benefit from.

Funds dedicated to the processing of minerals for use in large-capacity batteries
Grants available to produce key battery metals such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel

The continued support of domestic production and development of the critical battery metals used in the supply chains for EVs and other elements of the green revolution is significant and reinforces the timely movement of $GEMS into the battery metals sector.
