That $23 price you mention there is exactly the figure I got when I did my own calculations on the breakeven price between my tsx cdn listed average cost if my states post conversion to Tilray.  


Yeah something definitely got f'cked up here.  Makes no sense to me either.   I suppose I can call my broker on Monday to get their review and analysis of the conversion.

Next time we get one of these similar merger news I will think twice about holding my shares and will probably sell everything on the news rumour then buy back in after the conversion takes place.  Too many headaches with interpreting the merger and tax implications.  Judging by all the posts on this board, there definitely was a lot of confusion.  

Regardless I will be writing this capital loss off on my 2021 tax return against my capital gains.
