Brandpower IS VERY important

Brandpower IS VERY importantSorry, some folks seem to be missing the obvious here and I feel compelled to point it out (surprise, surprise)...

BRANDS ARE VERY IMPORTANT

Especially to sales / revenue for a company.  Lets look over some everyday things as examples.

Pop.. Soda Drinks

How many people will pay extra for Coke vs a generic soda drink that is almost exactly the same

Answer: Many / Most

Cars

How many people stand by their choice in vehicles despite many being similar ?  Ever hear a debate about which truck is better, Chevy vs Ford ?

Clothing

Ever see someone sporting a high priced piece of clothing and telling everyone which brand it is, even though the exact same thing (without the brand) is much cheaper?

Of course you have

What about Beer ?

I would bet many beer drinkers have heard about Bud Lite, right?   Is that beer really that special or did people buy it because of the brand / image ?    (it's the image, the beer has virtually no flavor)

What Tilray has now is a whole suite of products with various brands, many are well respected in the Cannabis Space, examples would include;  Verywell, Truss, Original Stash, and many many more (check their website).

The addition of the craft breweries by Tilray is another addition to their product offering and although consumers of Bud products walked away from that brand due to a complete and utterly terrible advertising campaign they did and will likely (imho) return to their favorite craft beers now that it is no longer under the Bud Umbrella.

Anyhow, when you read something on a stock forum try to apply common sense to it, does it sound logical or not?  What I am reading about brands (to me) sounds REALLY off-base.

jmho / dyodd..
