RE:RE:RE:Irwin (Simple) Simon isn’t buying a I was really thinking of the greasing palms comment as making a political contribution to the party or pro-pot people, just like beverage alcohol does.

And Big Pharma, Big Tobacco and pretty much every other financially positive business or elites with money, like the Kochs, Buffets, Syros or others who want to buy some friends that may or may not be able to further their interests in their objectives, usually money.

I do believe that pharma pot is going to be the ultimate big winner, beer sales and soft alcohol offerings are going to lose marketshare to cannabinoid infused beverages and that 3rd world countries will produce satisfactory pot and hemp the cheapest and that supply will be good enough for most product skus but I also beleive because the US dragged their feet on allowing legal scientific study that there is lots of catch up to do and it should be formidable coming from the scientific community in the US, exciting future prospects!

Supply and demand needs to be dealt with to make it safe and secure for consumers which means near total elimination for the black market potpreneurs.

The pain isn't over for potpreneurs that can't make profits or continue to raise capital to go the distance for this whole industry to right-size.

I believe that TLRY and WEED as well as the moneymaking US MSOs will be the last survivors standing with a sprinkling of well run juniors that offer unique strains or service or pharma quality products.

I also think that cannabinoid infused beverages are a much more acceptable and desirable way to consume, at least against smokeables and will continue to gain marketshare but also need to be allowed in already established bar venues and why not let liquor establishments sell them!  They have been doing a decent job of keeping alcohol out of the hands of kids, so why not pot too?

Federal decriminalization or legalization would eliminate a lot of political bantering and put everybody on the same page and would open up the new vice to the same financial and investment tools, like banking and brokering that every other US business has, at least that I can think of!

Big alcohol is waiting in the wings to let the leading starters sort it out politically, as are tobacco and pharma.

The journey has been exciting and devastating because of the lack of progress by government to bring this around to the will of the voters but 2024 shows promise.

The closer the vote is between the Republicans and Democrats might force this hole card out into the next election ballot.  Eliminating Federal persecution potential out of the equation or outright legalization with the same set or rules for every State in the US will give wings to this whole clusterfuch.

It is going to happen one State at a time or greenrush style!  That is up to the fence-sitting politicians who are looking for job security by recycling this issue.

117 SAFE bill proposals and no Presidential signature!  US politicians can do better than this and if they can't !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's time to get somebody who can!
