Let's not all jump the gun here.  There could be a very good reason the board would approve larger then usual packages to retain his services through 2022. Such things will not be often recurring factors against us as it was this quarter. The man has connections built a multi billion dollar business Hain Celestial. There's something in the works and it's big. How can you not think that?  Tilray is a very active company buying and acquiring and soon to be partnering in my opinion. They need a man like Irwin Simon at the helm negotiating these deals. I do believe he needs to be a bit more humble and the proxy voting will definitely send that message. Hopefully Irwin Simon and the investors can meet in the middle on this issue and we move forward with the great things coming.

Although I am on the same page as you when it comes to seeing the larger picture, timing is everything and the market mood that is prevailing makes this much more difficult to digest.  We are banking on his skills to grow Tilray the same way he grew Hain as the founder of what became a front runner in the organic foods market.  He certainly has a wealth of experience dealing with the ...more

I agree with everything you said. It was beautifully said mind you. I used to be the biggest critic of Irwin Simon. I battled many people here when I accused him of being asleep at the helm. I've definitely given him time and I have seen what the man is capable of.  I don't want to bore everyone with the achievements but let's just say we generated 168 million USD this quarter ...more
