March Update German Rec. Cannabis There have been some news on how the german legalization process is proceeding.
"This is mainly news but also with a bit of my own analysis, dont murder me please if the flair isnt accurate."
We have two different ways on a possible legalization process.
The judicial option:
We still have 10 (!) Judgement reviews which are pending at the constitutional court. These reviews are current procedings on individuals who should have been convicted on cannabis related charges, but the Judge has doubts on the constitutionality of a cannabis conviction. Thus, if the constitutional court finds that cannabis convictions in these cases are unconstitional and thus unlawful, there would be a defacto instant decriminalization of cannabis. Not a legalization. Just a decriminalisation. Still not perfect for Canna Stocks but definitly a big step forward.

The legislative option:
Its might get decided this march. The healthminister wants to present a bill before april. https://www.aerztezeitung.de/Politik/Cannabis-Legalisierung-in-zwei-Schritten-436140.html
There has been a suttle indication of smth brewing. There is a hearing on the 15th of March on cannabis in the Health Committee of the Bundestag https://www.bundestag.de/ausschuesse/a14_gesundheit/oeffentliche_anhoerungen/936104-936104
What got me really suspicious is a exisiting motion by the conservative party at this hearing, with a really interesting paragraph:
Even if the exact timetable of a controlled distribution of cannabis to adults for consumption purposes is still unclear in view of the existing international legal framework (https://www.tagesschau.de/inland/cannabis-legalisierung-109.html), the increase in contaminated as well as synthetic
and synthetic cannabis products on the black market, stronger measures to protect children and young
protection of children and young people.

That retoric is much "friendlier" in comparison to whats currently floating around by german conservative pundits.
March is getting interesting folks.
