You are not the only one baffled by Trudeau. How he hasn't been pied in the head yet is beyond me. Go check out the old videos of his father (Pierre not Castro) having a pie thrown at him back in the late 70's early 80's (can't recall the exact time off-hand.
On the topic of taxes, I believe some progress has already been seen on that front. Pretty sure I seen an article on the subject about a month or two ago.
