A Map of Progress for US Cannabis LegalizationMy view on the poticial front is that the US Federal Government is heading to a point in history where it will have no other choice but to Federally Legalize Cannabis. This is based on my own view that once we see over 50% of the US States legalizing and / or decriminalizing the substance that majority will win and the Feds will have no other choice.
In addition to the note above, it is also of my opinion that we will see politicians use Cannabis Legalization in the upcoming US Election to help win votes. If you research the topic of Cannabis Legalization you should easily find that over 74% of Americans are in favor of Cannabis Legalization. This is due to a number of factors such as; most do not see Cannabis as a "Hard Drug", many see it as having health benefits and then others who simply see it as an opportunity to create jobs and increase tax revenue for a country that deperately needs to pay down it's debt.
Politicans are good at one thing "
trying to say whatever it is that people want to hear" and I believe they know that the people of the United States want to hear that Cannabis will be legalized... politiicans will use this to win the votes they need to win elections.
