Hiti $3.20 - Total Shares 72.03M = 22.5X
Tilray $2.46 - Total Shares 763.77M = 310.5X
Looking at these ratio comparisons what would be your conclusions? Only 1 of the above Canadian companies has not done a reverse split, we can see the results in todays market. Does anyone come to the conclusion Tilray is undervalued?
Market my have realized how oversold Tilray is as its seems it's beginning to adjust and outperform the rest, as it should )
In order to compare companies you need to first determine which companies make the
BEST comparison. Not all companies that deal in Cannabis have the same business structure, deal in the same products or even sell into the same regions. Some are also growers while others deal in retail sales / brick and mortor stores.
As a comparion of companies for Tilray Brands I have been using Canopy Growth. Why? Because they are both Licensed Producers, both have very similar product offerings which include both Rec and Medical Cannabis offerings.
The two differences to note between these companies is that Canopy is backed by Constellation Brands while Tilray stands on it's own. Tilray has it's own line of Alchol products while Canopy is lacking this.
To address the value of shares (as a comparison who trades the cheapest) we can use the
Price to Sales Ratio fundamental. This tells us how much investors are paying for shares based on the amount of sales being pulled in by each company.
This is
one of many fundamentals that can be used to assess the value of shares and should be coupled with foreward looking speculation and research in terms of how good the products really are, new markets opening up for each company as well as other factors.
Here are the Y-Chart Historical PS-
Ratio Data for both Tilray Brands as well as Canopy Growth.
