  • Tilray (NASDAQ:TLRY) shares are up 3.5% in premarket trading after announcing it is launching Symbios, a medical cannabis brand.

  • The line provides a wider variety of formats as well as different cannabinoid ratios at a lower price point than the company's existing portfolio of medical cannabis products.

  • Tilray also announced it is launching medical cannabis topical treatments, such as cannabis oils and soft gels, under its Aphria label for inflammatory joint disease.

  • Last week, Cantor Fitzgerald upgraded shares to overweight on the strength of the company's recently completed merger with Aphria.
