Strange that Irwin would pull off something like this during a period where Safe Banking could possibly pass. Perhaps he has been assured that it will?

Certainly the fact that SAFE has not yet come to a vote is a good sign that there's been a lot of shmoozing taking place behind the scenes. SAFE Banking is so obviously good for both parties, especially the GOP, who are strong supporters of the free market, that it's ridiculous that it should not pass now.
