In my view, TLRY will continue to be a target for shorts until the 86% of shares owned by the General Public is significantly reduced, and with it, shares held by Institutional Investors (13%) + Insiders (1%) rise such that the ratio gets much closer to 50/50.   Secondly, the rather modest recent insider buying is not exactly flashing a huge "Buy" signal IMO:   Jan. 11&

What will happened whit no shorts, Tilray at 25.00 end of the day and drop 23.00 the other day. The market cap of Tilray is now at a good level for investors. Would like to have a reverse split of 5 to 1.

Why would someone want a reverse split.. other than to make it easier to short.. I see no reason whatsoever for any reverserce split.... if you believe our share count to be too high.. tlry can do a share buy back to reduce it... we are close to profits then anything is on the table..jmho

Forget a buying back share program, Tilray need money to buy MSO's in US or merger. Big institutions don't like stocks at 2.00, only me, I have 32000 shares, 5500 would be OK.

One benefit of a share consolidation (reverse split) is TLRY may actually meet the criteria to have a shot at appearing on the stock screens of more Institutional investment entities. A number of them likely set a minimum share price as one of their criteria (e.g. $5.00), so TLRY won't even be up for consideration as an investment as long as it trades below this number. If you think a consolidation is a bonus then do your research on canopy growth and take your trade there.  For Tilray it does not appear to be anywhere in the cards and companies do not consolidate shares just for giggles Insiders are buying. Why ?   They are certainly not doing it with plans to consolidate IMHO
