Quinlash, did the sales guidance of $4 billion

come from street estimates - or the CEO?
Where did the ebitda guidance of $80 million come from?
Where did positive cash flow come from?

Analysts make educated guesses - Tikrays CEO pulls numbers out of ..... thin air.
Inaccurate or not - and despite my own opinions of some paid analysts, I'd go with them before trusting anything Simple Simon promises - and then blames everyone else for his incompetent figures

I don't believe it all comes down to JUST numbers - usually other variables are at play. Comparatively to last year we are doing well. First full year post-COVID. I hate seeing the stock depressed but I'm sure we are this low due to factors outside of Tilrays control. GlTA ._7

If you do some research into why companies / CEOs never comment on street targets you will find that they see no value in it.  Street Estimates vary and they are set by numerous outside analysts.

These targets may be well thought out but others are just computer generated based on prior QTR trends.  They can often overlook unexpected positives as well as unexpected negatives

If CEOs were to give credit to street estimates then investors would likely start relying more on analysts estimates rather than doing their own research.

Still listening to earnings call here. I do like that they are buying #1 position in Germany

Minor correction here "buying #1" is some sort of auto correct error.  The comment from the earnings call was that Tilray is ranked as #1 / positioned as #1 in Germany.

When the earnings transcript comes out you will find it in the Q&A section

Tilray needs new gudiance for sure, below is a good example on where Tilray should be at if they claim to be the market leader! https://stkt.co/4IcK4R_m Sound financials are required befor expansion, never mind competing in other markets. Hopefully more retail will look more closely at the financials moving forward.
