Buy Outs

I've had growth companies bought out several times in the last 10 years. It usually occurs when the stock is down a bit. It does not seem to occur when the stock is soaring. I always try to remember  that to avoid selling at the wrong time.

Boy! Really a positive view. If I look at my portfolio, TOL doesn't look so positive. "What is not to like" is the SP downtrend in a very bullish market. In other words, the bottom line now. Also, I don't like the average BOE/D after 1 yr. These are not wells to get anyone excited. I'm not sure what they should do to improve things. I'm looking to sell on a pop if we get ...more

I agree, fundamentals are important. Good points. I do have the presentation and have read it several times. I like the number of de-risked drilling sites. I like the investor pressure applied. However, SP is also a fundamental. SP ends up being what an investor can spend in the end. Nothing more fundamental or important than price. We can't spend our hopes.
