Lightstream controls this game

Let's just think about what has happened with this effort to maximize shareholder value.

Lightstream is the company that acquired a large stake and then like an activist got the company to start the sale process.

Now if Lightstream had made an offer for the whole company of even 3.00-3.25 the market would have objected and turned them down because the offer was just too low given all available data.

Now along comes this European company and makes a low -ball offer, again given all available data and now if Lightstream comes back with a whitenight offer of 3.25-3.50, they are the heroes not the bad guys.

maybe this an unfolding drama??

again it's my belief that there has to be a reaosn to accept a low-ball offer, when on the surface there is just no reason to do so?

Wishful thinking shambano. Lightstream just doesn't have the resources to buyout TOL without taking on more debt or diluting themselves excessively because of their low SP. I feel for you guys but the market at present is telling you there isn't another offer coming.

They did not NEED to make this deal...we all would have been much further ahead to let nature take its course and let production numbers and price of oil move this up by itself. They ...more

sorry I had my facts mixed up.  I wonder if Andylan has alerady exited this stock? as to Lightstream buying TOL, they don't have to buy the whole company, another 10-20 % ownership and they can almost block the deal on their own. maybe the marekt isn't expecting a better deal but we'll see what happens. The discount is just too big unless there are things going on that we don ...more
