RE:RE:ElectionMGL now has their own Clown President. That hasn't been bad for US stock markets so far. The election has reversed the strength in the Tughrik this year though. Besides, the MPP is still in charge of their parliament and while the President is mostly a figurehead he can keep them in check with his veto power. So, another premature payout of mining dividends to its citizens appears unlikely, just campaign talk at this point.
The blank ballot protest almost forced a redo of the election. A large percentage (~10%) of the voters were not happy with either candidate (nor their corrupt and inept GOM, IMHO).
