Interesting article from the Globe and Mail, on the Sector. Pretty much confirms what I have been saying. They need institutional support. This sector was driven primarily by quick retail money and that has disappeared. Most retail investors do not want to hear, the scariest words in investing: "This is a long term investment "  t was barely a year ago that psychedelics stocks

I think the good news is that that article confirms that TRIP is positioning itself well in the sector to avoid the years long biotech route and focus on generating increasing amounts of revenenue right now.  Would be great to get more institutional support but I don't think that will happen until they get bigger, and that is going to probably require a merger.  Creso didn't pan

Well we should find out about revenues soon, with their quarterly report. I agree that a merger is our best case scenario. Retail decriminalization will not come for many years, if at all. They do have a few commpetitive advantages I company like Mindmed or Compass  or any Cannabis producer could benefit from.

I fully agree it will be years before full retail legalization and I've never thought otherwise.  If anything I think we have been moving faster than I expected from when I first invested in TRIP.   But I think their business strategy is going to allow them to get there and be well positioned for it.  And yeah I think a merger with someone is inevitable.

Which bring us back to my thesis earlier. If I was going t buy or merge with  Red Light Holland, I would do so now before they use up the cash in the company. Why not offer .30 cents a share costing you approx 100 million to buy them and then use the cash of 30 million, in Red Light, to pay for the purchase. Seems obvious to me. Unless, any potential acquirer feels they are not even worth $70

Hopefully that was the bottom Swim.  Quarterly numbers coming out, and it has been a while since there has been a new deal announced, or an update on an old deal like Mera, so based on previous timeline of deal announcements I think we are overdue.
