$5 Billion - $ 50 Million ? Dunno Fitness I think your numbers are spot on. Pretty near $5 Billion in the ground and open at depth and to the south means in all likelihood it will get bigger and more profitable. Nice to see that the recovery potential is high and there are no surprises there either. Corporately the El Alfy team has been efficient with a buck, and are moving incredibly quickly, but I will temper that with the fact they started with a very nice asset to begin with.
The markets have been difficult in the resource sector, so owning assets that are proven to be there ... as opposed to weaving dreams of what might be in the ground is the only way to go for me. I can’t afford to take silly chances that may see a return of 5 X when I can own something that justifies those returns.
I too am impressed that the stock didn’t fly the day BEFORE the news but rather responded to the news itself, more proof that Tosca is building itself on pillars of stone not promotional sand. If management is as smart as they have proven to date, this information will now be spread and disseminated more and further, because there is seriously something to talk about!
Onward and upward Tosca. Fill my jeans with tuition money (and pay the student loan!) and a new car for graduation too!
