seasons change

seasons change

Ahh Tosca, Summer is coming to an end, fall around the corner.  Interesting that as the seasons change, the ground stays the same, full of Cu and Mo.  I had a call with mgmt at Tosca the other day and though I may ‘read between the lines’ a little it seems there is corporate activity at Tosca though the ever so moribund stock market place may say different.  The fellow I spoke to reiterated the low cost high grade ore in the ground, the open pit potential and the safe and mining friendly jurisdiction it was in (Texas).  He went on to mention that although the stock market may not value the asset of over $4 Billion of ore in the ground, that “others” did.   When I queried him on what that meant, he simply said that there were other people who saw value in the property. I don’t know if that means someone is interested in buying the asset from Tosca or willing to invest in Tosca, but either way I am grateful that there is a valid asset in Tosca.  I was also lead to believe that a pre-economic assessment would be complete in the next month or two, and though nobody knows how it will look, it should have some market impact.

In the mean time my math says that IF Tosca were to sell Red Hills and managed to get just one half of one percent of the value of the ore that is proven in the ground (less than 1000 feet from surface),  that would equate to $20 Million, a far cry from the $2 million value being offered us in the stock today .   I continue to have faith that the Tosca team can turn IF into $, now if the exchange would just get out of its own way!

Mike!
