RE:RE:RE:RE:Dr. Cash Re: Shorts
RE:RE:RE:RE:Dr. Cash Re: ShortsI totally agree. The shorting begani in November and has continued in December and January. The short position is currently 5.5 million shares and will be updated offcially on Feb 15, 2016. Holiday and exchange is closed so may not see the numbers until Feb 16. 1) This is a professional entity that is shorting - not a retail or novice investor 2) Group or person responsible is from US - using Morgan Stanley as the broker to execure the shorting 3) Shorting is done by algorythmic trading in 100 blocks and is calculated to sell into any strength.... usually prominent during weak periods and especially at closing 4) the risk vs reward for thisi shorting does not make sense - 20 to 30 cents profit vs severe loss in the event of postive news , buyout or deal. 20 days to cover 5) MS was shorting again on Friday so warrant issue has no bearing on their reasoning (my opinion only). 6) This stock is a small cap not a large float. in its history it has never had this large a short position 7) either someone wants to keep the price capped for lower bid takeout bid??? certainly not going to make alot of money on the shorting of this. I am just guessing here. *** Main point is what happens if short position is larger than 3 million shares or has not chaged at all? What is managements contingency plan then? Hopefully the short position is small and we can move on from this but Fridays trading activity does not suggest so. I will try to post updated short psoition as soon as I get it.
