RE:RE:NB note

RE:RE:NB note Thanks StocksFTB ...

So even though are few new scopes introduced to the market (they are not going to reinvent the wheel)  but the simple fact the any new scope (whole category of scopes to be precise) FDA is indirectly implying that :

1) Recognize all scopes need to be sterilized (not only reprocessed and disinfected)
2) Know TOS VP4 can provide that for any new scopes
3) Fda knows that VP4 is already cleared in Canada and Europe to do all the scopes espcially duodenoscopes
4) Once FDA approval is received for expanded claims for Olympus and Pentax scopes, most hospitals and instituitions will buy VP4 without hesitation when replacing their cold sterilizer
5)  Most hospitals and instiutiuons will want to avoid any legal liability by switching over to VP4 after approval .This grandfathering is a farce ...would you not sterilize a dudodenoscope and risk a patient dying and being sued while you knew there was an alternative avaiable? Lawyers are already watching this development and licking their chops waiting for any opportunity. Hospitals should be putting in their orders ASAP to make sure they can get a unit before FDA approval.
