While currently not an owner of TSL l have been looking closely at both this and DBM. The reason is a common denominator Amar Doman.. by all accounts a highly competent and an aquisitor of unvalued companies. He is the largest shareholder inDBM and a major owner ofTSL.. He made a run at this one before and l now believe the time is ripe to go after them again. TSL would be a good fit to DBM and Amars empire. .Besides while TSL s smaller dividend is not attractive to me right now , if they were taken out at what l would think would be a premium then those shares incorporated into DBM would receive a double in share yield. Conclusion , l prefer to be ahead of the curve and intend today to iniate apposition in both .Risk , Reward and it seems to me that the fit into DBM and their diversified portfolio of both Lumber , Retail and diversified assets makes sense. Besides l get paid to wait and if what l believe could occur then l will be well rewarded. Those who sold may want to rethink this setback .

You may well be correct CountryBoy36. I like both companies & owned a relatively large holding of TSL shares. Figured I'd be better off selling half & investing that money in a couple of other stocks I've been tracking. I'm definitely open to topping up my TSL holdings if the price is right. My biggest beef with TSL is a lack of promotion to the investment community, a lack of

Stocker , l couldn't agree more regarding lack of communication from the company.It makes no sense , but DBM is somewhat similiar. Depending on where an investor bought in and  changes in goals , then l can see why you trimmed your position. These two companies are first time ventures for new and l purchased 1000 share. In both making the blended dividend more palatable for my goals.I

Thanks for your input , it appears that some posters are both ill-mannered and classless. I will file your post where it belongs , in the rubbish where it seems you like to dwell. along with a few others .Fact , it is good to see that the majority of posters on SH like to deal with others opinions , but there are always a few who regard the gutter as their domain.

A load of manure is right, l am not a football fan and it seems you aren't either. I followed up on Red_deers post and Amar did indeed by the BC Lions. So someone ,talking about nothing he knows about is full of it , and Penny look no further than the mirror. No other poster needs to make you look the fool , you are more than capable of doing that by yourself. Thanks Red for the info backup.
