DIAMOND DRILLING AT THE WEST END OF THE ELDER MINE EXTENDS THE MAIN VEINAND SEVERAL HOLES INTERSECTS MORE THAN ONE ZONE OF MINERALIZATION

Additionaldrilling results from eight holes in the western portion of AbcourtMines Inc.'s Elder gold mine property, located 10 kilometres northwestof Rouyn-Noranda, continue to expand this growing mineralized system,which also remains open to the east, the north and at depth.

The length of intersections is approximately equal to true widths.

All assays were done by Techni-Lab S.G.B. Abitibi Inc., an approved laboratory.

It is worth noting that five out of eight holes intersected more thanone zone of mineralization. Also, holes E10-50, E10-51, E10-53, E10-54and E10-55 represent an addition of 30 meters (100 feet) to the west.

We're also very excited with the potential of theTagami Property immediately to the north where much more drilling willbe taking place. We are strongly focused on re-opening the Elder mine asquickly and efficiently as possible."

>From 1944 to 1964, the Elder mine produces 350,000 ounces of gold.

In July 2009, a revision of the resources for the Elder property wascompleted by an independent qualified person, Mr Jean-PierreBérubé, P. Eng., consultant fromTrois-Rivières, Québec. This revision was madeaccording to NI-43-101 standards.
