04 Aug 2022 14:33 ET 02:33 PM EDT, 08/04/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Pershimex Resources Corpo. (PRO.V) on Thursday said that contracts for the extraction of the 5,000 tons bulk sample from the Courville project have been awarded. The update came after the authorities approved the extraction of the bulk sample to carry out metallurgical tests, which will help in establishing the actual content in gold of the mineralized material. The information will contribute to the development of the Pershing-Manitou deposit as it will optimize future development work, the company added. Pershimex President and CEO Robert Gagnon said in a statement: "Obtaining the necessary authorizations for the extraction of 5,000 tons of mineralized material marks an important phase in the development of the Courville project. We have been working hard for almost 3 years now, and with the same rigorous budget for the realization of phase 2 of our ambitious project." The company said that preparations are underway and the extraction work will begin during the first week of September 2022. The mineral resource estimate carried out in 2022 confirmed the presence of 9,200 tons of mineralized material at a grade of 7.2 grams per ton of gold for a total of 2,100 ounces of gold. The bulk sample of 5,000 tons will be extracted from this category of material, classified as measured. The material will then be transported from the Pershing-Manitou site to the Sleeping Giant processing plant, and the milling will be done at the Sleeping Giant mine of Abcourt Mines (ABI.V), with which Pershimex established business. |
