RE:RE:Thanks to all posters. The concept of a dividend may be appropriate for a bigger miner. But Abcourt is still in its infancy.
Profit sharing could only come much later once Abcourt MInes is a much bigger producer! A growing company also draws better investor attention! Once profits become obvious, some shareholders will come to stay!
Some will trade. Others will wait for growth! That's what shareholders, always do! There are many reasons to buy or sell their shares!
Pascal Hamelin in this video states that initially the 750 ton/day mill at Sleeping Giant will only be pushing through about 1000 tons/week. Abcourt is starting off small. But they will be producing high margin gold.
The cash flow will immediately be spent on drilling to better define the current resources and to expand the present resources by finding and opening up new bodies of ore. As cash is generated by continuing sales, Abcourt will next open up levels 5, 6 and seven.
The market may be now be in a slumber about Abcourt. But it will finally get the message about the potential offered by the SG mine once the first quarter financial results are finally released!
The Discovery deposit offers a 5 gm/tonne golden opportunity. This means that it will be economic to truck the ore to the mill. But we are still looking out for at least a year before that possiblity even becomes feasible.
Pascal is also very excited about the opportunity offered by the Perhimex deposit. So he looks forward to discovering the exact gold content that the mill will be able to extract from the current bulk deposit that is now being processed.
Finding the right technically qualified individuals that understand underground mining operations will continue to be a challenge. But this is a dilemma facing every mining operation in Canada.
Technical people may choose to work in other fields because of the cyclical nature of the mining business. But Pascal plans to pay his workers well and has made allowance for this in the cost analysis of the preliminary PEA.
And after the Elder mine closure was made, certain key individuals with the necessary skill set were kept on staff for the Sleeping Giant mine.
Production should ramp up quickly. In 18 months from now, the company will be in full commercial production. That means that by that time, we should have a mill operating, full tilt, at 750 tonnes per day!
Once commercial production commences, it will be time for Abcourt to better explore it's other properties and utilize the best opportunities to open up new mines for more production!
It's always difficult to look optimistically into the future. But if one is willing to take the chance, now would be the best time to get on board and get invested! Each to their own!
But less due dilligence is necessary now to make that kind of good decision!
All the best! Java
