Open the Door..

Good Morning
The action in this stock will be one to remember into the future. For a decade, I would suggest many small shareholders were witness to a remarkable company which had "slowly" developed into one of the most undervalued stocks i personally, I am aware of.
I would suggest we all also knew that for a decade the company was not considered investment quality.
Regardless, of all those who support OMH for all his qualities in accumulation of remarkable undervalued assets, operating in an almost debt free development, the facts of the matter are... so very few trusted his leadership skills.
Over the years this became more clear and unfortunate.
That is now about to change....personally, i am hoping not only in these coming months, are we to have a new CEO but OMH takes this times to leave in a more OPEN and dynamic way...
Regardless, the stock this morning is grossly undervalued to its peers...I suggest the silver will be the key future to this company....The fact that silver is the most undervalued commodity in the world in my opinion...
Further, to all shareholders ...this constant  rumbling about Quebecois shareholders or the rest of the multinational shareholders being divide by language and background... becomes more harmonious .....work together...
We need each other to make this stock shine...I feel the key to open this stock to its full potential has finally turned...the door is about to open...and .........
We all feel we know what can be the  future potential. It can  bring to the investors here... 5... 10...times this morning price....a casino winner smile!
Folks ...never under estimate an underdog...in a roaring PM market!!!

Absolutely true Old Mariner. Things are changing. I went to examine the course of Mr Mestrallet. He's a self-made man. A veterinarian by training, he created his own practice in France at a young age, some forty years ago and then set up a group of companies in the field of animal health and welfare, veterinary clinics and product manufacturing laboratories. He took over bankrupt ...more

So, Francois Mestrallet, who now is bizarrely Abcourt's Chairman of the Board, who LACKS A MINING EDUCATION and has ZERO MINING EXPERIENCE and who LIVES IN FRANCE is going to "drive change in this company"? What a joke.

yes absolutely. You are mistaken, Geckomeister, in thinking that a business executive must be a technician. Does Elon Musk have any garage mechanic or auto construction skills? is Jeff Bezos an experienced logistician No, neither one nor the other Better than that, they are the organizers who know how to choose the right collaborators and train a team behind them.   Anyway ...more

Pretty poor examples PILGRIM.  Elon Musk has degrees from both Stanford U. (top echelon for scientific research) and Wharton (one of the best business schools). Just proves the point that yes, duh, a relevant educational background actually is a key factor of effectiveness.  Jeff Bezos has a degree from Princeton U, one of the top few Ivy League colleges. In 1986, he graduated ...more

Hi Geckomeister My words were only intended to remind  a company is a group of people who work together and whose skills complement each other.   It was not to award an efficiency certificate to some providential man nor to discuss the comparative merits of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.   You are right to say that Mr Mestrallet has NO MINING EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND, and NO MINING ...more

Hi PILGRIM,      Education and years of experience in a particular industry don't just matter a lot, they are imperative for success. The examples of Musk and Bezos as well as any other top notch company leader proves that, contrary to your attempt to use them as examples of being simply administrators. No, deep technical knowledge and many years of experience in their ...more
