He's a self-made man.
A veterinarian by training, he created his own practice in France at a young age, some forty years ago and then set up a group of companies in the field of animal health and welfare, veterinary clinics and product manufacturing laboratories. He took over bankrupt companies which he completely turned around in a few years, managing them with skill and determination to make them very profitable in a few years. He knows how to surround himself and motivate competent people to build winning teams.
I have no problem that he is not a mining engineer by training because the essential for a good leader is not to dominate the technical part but to have the charisma to train people and the will to succeed .
I am convinced that now that he has free rein in Abcourt he will drive change in this company as he has done for his other business and bring Abcourt to 10.20 or 30 times what it is today. .
