I am thinking a spike above 40 dollar silver is likely. Higher than that? Yes, entirely possible. But I am somewhat conservative.
GV:
Getting a lot of DMs about my expectations after yesterday's silver breakout. I don't forecast anymore—it's all about execution and having multiple scenarios ready. I use my own experiences plus around 10 subscriptions to inform my decisions on cycle timing, waves, and the broader macro thesis of precious metals and commodities. I've been paying for most of these for over 10, sometimes 15 years, so I know their strengths, weaknesses, egos, and emotions. Some even serve as contrarian indicators, oh yes indeed. My beta exposure in silver is tied to this timing. For alpha, i use a totally different strategy.
I see silver surging over the next 7-10 months, reaching a tradable top. However, it won't be easy to spot this peak in real time, as it will be well past $50. There will be some deep shakeouts along the way, likely around mid-summer. My initial bigger target is $65 for this upcycle I mentioned, evolving along the way. Afterward, I expect a longer correction, but it might be very interesting for alpha exposure /discoveries in precious metals since we will be correcting from very high levels.
The real endgame or the final surge for the precious metals am expecting after this longer correction, in the latter part of this decade.
