TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 22, 2007) - ANDINA Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ADM.V) ("Andina") is pleased to report further drill results from its Volcan Gold Project located 170 kilometres east of Copiapo, Chile in the Maricunga Gold Belt. The results are from a series of six drill holes collared along the northeast strike extension of the Dorado West Zone gold deposit and includes the longest intersections of gold mineralization cut to-date on the property: 668 metres grading 0.81 grams per tonne gold ("g/t Au") from drill hole DOA-676 including a 238 metre interval grading 1.36 g/t Au with a higher grade core of 48 metres which returned 2.49 g/t Au (see figure 1 attached). All drill holes were collared at a head angle of 60 degrees and drilled in a southeast direction. Table 1 provides a summary of the drill assay results.
