The iShares Core U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The index measures the performance of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its net assets in component securities of its underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the component securities of its underlying index.

RE:RE:RE:RE:what if grades were lower?Goldencrane, I wouldn't waste your time trying to rationalize with GD. He doesn't have any grasp of technical data or fundamentals, is always looking in the rear view mirror instead of forward and has a traders mentality not an investor's mentality. It's impossible to debate with him. Just look at this last post. He continuously ignores the data that is right in front of his eyes and only says "well if the SP is low it can't be good" and only believes something can be good if an analyst says it is. Multiple reasons have been given to GD about why the low SP in the past, such as "show me" story, lack of promotion and generally poor market conditions but he can't accept those reasons and fixates only on the current SP. He doesn't understand the opportunity for greatest returns lies in being contrarian and getting in front of the story before the herd stumbles in. As for Treetop, he hasn't presented one fact based rebuttal to any of your posts which leads me to question both his INTEGRITY and CREDIBILITY.
