Altamira Gold Corp > CEO has left the country?

CEO has left the country?

Interesting to see the CEO of Blockchain Labs Asia, Director of Metalstream, Managing Director of Sonata Capital, Director of Enegra and his Investor Relations wife Windi have left Malaysia and the company headquarters. The couple very recently moved to Queenstown New Zealand.
Seems rather odd to be leaving and moving 6500kms away from head office when you are on the cusp of closing your first private placements, about to issue your first tranches to three forward purchase agreements and currently working towards your first public offerings valued at 10's of billions of dollars.

Pretty exciting times..............

Too be leaving????

Nice work shneps! Got a reference? I'd have placed Eli Weir and Windi Weir on the North Island in NZ myself, although if half of what we've uncovered is true I was expecting him to change his name to avoid creditors..

I'm not saying it is anything untowards just strange to be away from the group at such a critical time in its development. Apparently they are making a company update at the end of the month. Follow Twitter strings. Good luck this week. Cheers

I think it speaks volumes.

I'm very easy to find. I have had the same email address for the last 25 years. I don't have any creditors to hide from. My public profile is always my face, my name, my contact details. I can't say the same for other users of these forums.

Eli, appreciate you coming forward to address issues brought forward by the various forward stream shareholders. I'm not sure where to start with questions but I will start with a few: 1. How can we have any confidence in your business model when you state your various entities have been around since 2014 and yet have never generated any revenue. The promotion of these various entities has ...more

You do not have access to the financials of any of the companies you refer to, otherwise you would make such unsubstantiated statements. Blockchain Labs Asia, for example, generates considerable cash returns on its operations. In addition, Blockchain Labs Asia has equity positions in various other companies, that have increased in value, and therefore generated capital returns. Sonata Capital ...more

Again Eli I appreciate you replying to the questions but I have to say why would I ever consider blindly investing in a company in order to then see it's financial status? Are Blockchain Labs Asia accounts receivables from entities outside the consortiums group of companies or more from internal transactions between the Sonata, Brix, Enegra, etc? Virtually all MSGLD transactions on etherscan ...more

Yes, Blockchain Labs Asia receives money from companies that it performs services for. Note that most companies that Blockchain Labs Asia holds equity positions in, were not formed by the principals, but are clients that we took a position in as partial payment for these services - such as Enegra. Enegra was incorporated back in 2011. Blockchain Labs Asia became involved in 2017, and I was not ...more

Definitiely doesn't bode well. Why would anyone want to distance themselves like that?

Note that I am a New Zealand citizen, holding a New Zealand passport. There is a global pandemic. Borders are closed and travel is restricted. As part of our long-term strategy, and in line with a recent acquisition, we have registered several subsidiaries in New Zealand. Our group of companies has always operated with a remote team distributed across various countries, since 2014. I continue ...more

It appears some posts have disappeared from this thread. So even the scant financial information that Eli has revealed have been scrubbed from public record. On September 18, 2020 05:54 am Eli wrote .. but now Stockhouse says that Post ID 31579645 is not found?

Possibly it is because of the question I asked in relation to the valuation shown on their website of $42.5B and what the actual auditted amount is as of December 31st 2019. Again I find this to be very deceptive as to what the actual audited statements are. You put it out there for everybody to see you had better much sure everything is accurate. Good luck. Looking like another ugly day, Cheers

Yes, a valuation changing from $42B to $27B and Eli blamed it on the change in commodity prices. I guess the easiest way to earn a $27B valuation is to start with a $42B one and drive it like you stole it! It is difficult to imagine how you could get to a valuation like that and not be aware of how hedging works to mitigate that exact scenario. See also this article with the cringeworthy title. ...more

Eli Weir has admitted metalstream doesn't have any gold "will be backed.." is the words he used when referring to the backing of metalastream gold tokens. Then there's the question about 'double counting' gold of David Vincents Canamex and GoldUSA and now Metalstream gold tokens against the same gold, Guyana - well we all see where that one is going.. One thing that is ...more

Seriously good post.

My guess is he is dreaming of buying that house at a discount with the proceeds of token sales.   Probably considers it a safer investment than giving his money to 3 juniors, whose usefulness to him just expired.
