Interesting points from another Board
Of note, John Wright successfully sold a 13 year E&P company in Colombia for $1.8 Billion. The buyer kept all Colombian assets and a start up division in Peru. Thus my renewed interest in Petroal. The buyers of Colombian assets didn't want the Brazilian E&P division and thus Alvopetro was carved out of the buy-out 8 years ago. Alvo 2P 10% NPVof $180 million (proved and producing ) is 3X more than current market cap of $60 Million. Upon success of one of two exploration wells in 2021 the 2P 10% NPV will easily reach $350 Million which would be 5-6X from current 60 cent share price. Problem with Alvo no trading activity. Touch was similar to alvo in low trading activity until success thru drill bit showed , "Birds of a feather flock together." Once Alvo's reserve prize gets bigger the trading volume will come. Fundamentas are as sound as Touch. Reserve potential ,as of today, is NOT as big as Touch. Similar to Touch dividends are a part of the companies future strategy. Thus, if trading volume is slow in coming I will likely be paid to wait. A div on alvo in 2021 is likely reliant on success on one of two planned Exploration wells in 2021
