In my mind (rightly or wrongly) there is one person or a small group of people that have been buying up ALY over the last couple of months. 2.5 million shares bought through house 80 - National Bank.
If this was TD, fine. It could be a bunch of people randomly trading. Lots and lots of people trade through TD.
ALY is fairly thinly traded as it is so the idea that that many shares can be accumulated by more than a few people with so little selling is unlikely (IMO).
Personally, I like the idea that there is someone out there accumulating ALY under the radar.
I figure there is always someone out there smarter than me... If I can just follow them for a little while, I will be okay.
But...whatev.
