RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Stopping shorters

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Stopping shortersJust spoke with my brokerage about shorting and borrowing shares too short. Im with td up in Canada I only have a tfsa. So what the gentilman explained to me because its no where to be found in the agreement that they can only borrow your shares if you have a margin account. Personal account and savings account they can not borrow shares. Went on to ask if I did have a margin account how do I not allow them too borrow my shares and he said you cant stop them from borrowing your shares with a margin account. Then asked if I put a high limit price on my shares does that do anything he then said he has heard of people doing that but does not necessarily stop them from borrowing your shares they can still borrow even if you have a high limit price. Im happy to find out these crooks cant touch my shares in my tfsa. There should be an option to say no but there isnt.
