Sell the Company

Sell the Company

Am I the only one that thinks that AMY should be put up for sale?  Forget a JV or an off-take agreement.  Forget new management.  Time is the enemy of all small resource companies, especially AMY.  If the battery side of the business works, then someone with deep pockets, such as a  large resource company (Freeport McMoran comes to mind) who have the financial and technical resources could develop the mine.  The purchase price could be small ($20 - $25 million) could do it.  Private equity might also be interested.

The obstacles to this company's survival are simply too great for AMY to continue on its own.  What are some of the obstacles?  Dilution and delisting are two that quickly come to mind.   You will notice that I did not say management.  To blame them at this point doesn't do us any good.  New management won't fix this situation unless it's sole purpose is a sale.

If the company were to be sold in the price range that I offered up, many of us would lose money on our investment.  I'm included in this group.  But, if you get hung up on your purchase price, it will keep you from advocating what needs to be done now, today.  All of our dreams of getting rich off of AMY died when the PFS came out.
