RE:Time For The Longs To Take Some Profits

RE:Time For The Longs To Take Some Profitsagree Shwayjo, good rationale i think!.. i too decided the right move was to sell some so even though i am real not a long (only in since nov 06)  i just figured the smart thing to do is to take some off the table..
But i got to tell you that it was not easy to let some go, ie: sell just under half my position at 125% gain but i feel this is a speculation run as much as anything ..But in the long run i believe AMY will turn out to be one of the best stocks i have ever owned...(jmo) and i plan to continue to hold my remaining for that time!
But trading discipline is a hard lesson to learn and i have failed miserably years ago so i try to force myself to do what i perceive to be the right thing now.
IF the sp holds that will be great but if it retraces too much i'll be waiting there too!

I also know that what you say about the new posters arriving and taking over the board pumping...yeah.. it 's gonna get noisy here soon enough

But i am glad for you and for all longs whether they decide to sell some for profits or hang on for more.. wish all the best to all !
