RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Reality - No More ExcusesThere is a big swich to natural gas going on many coal plants are converting to Nat Gas.A big problem with nuclear is that the plants take 20 tears to build and cost billions.The real overlooked issue is energy consumption we would not need any more production if we took conservation seriously.The average house size has increased by 50% and buidings are only about 10-20% more efficient than they were 50 years ago.The average person consumes 100% more energy than they did 25 years ago.I live in Edmonton and all new homes have AC even though it is only hot maybe 10 days per year.My house is surrounded by trees which keeps the house about 10 degrees cooler than my neighbours monster home surrounded by artificial grass.
