Aluminum taxes with USA

Has anyone else caught the news that the USA may impose a tariff on Canadian aluminum? Just thinking that if the USA does this, then why wouldn't Canada do the same in return with a tariff on manganese? After all, if the USA can't get the manganese they require for steel, then that will hit their auto and construction sectors pretty hard. Thing is, I am not hearing any real news on how Canada intends to fight for their aluminum industry.

ASIDE FROM ALL THAT, WHERE IS LARRY TAKING US IN THE NEAR FUTURE. WHAT GIVES?

Create a specific list of questions, then send off an email with them.  Afterwards, let us know what your inquiry returned. I suggest this because some of my less-than-private questions to Larry receive responses..  For instance:  The Mine is not scheduled to be re-opened.  I had mis-read The Economic Standard article / 060220 and obtained clairity from him.

Sending your questions to Larry is a very good idea. He very often answers mine unless I am asking something that might be covered in a NDA or it is not for the public yet. I have never heard of any CEO that gives out his email address and phone number weekly and ask folks to ask him questions.
