Animas has outlined a very large mineralized system that is approximately 4 to 5 kilometers in length and 2 to 3 kilometers wide. The rocks found in the system have similarities to those found in large mineral-rich deposits.
In 2010, Animas began mapping and sampling to define the full extent of the system and its mineral potential. This year, the company says it will continue to review the data to identify exploration targets.
Animas just reported a major mining company was the successful winner of a recent land auction for the lands surrounding the Ariel concessions. The company said it's in contact with that company to explore business opportunities to advance the exploration on that target.
