From my understanding, the company (APC) is currently described as a pharma research company. The main core business is to develop something related to medical drugs or something related.  As a pharma research company they cannot really invest in a tractor factory for farming because it’s not what they have been described for the stock exchange authority. By changing the status and name to an investment entity,  the new company will own the drug/protein technology that they develop and can also invest in whatever they want (rocket launcher, crypto, casinos, baseball cards, etc.).
