RE:Speaking on completion. PORTL If I understand it correctly, ARHT’s bundle packages are just for using their studios, hardware and software to setup and host a Virtual Global Stage transmission. So you could use their system 10 times for $25,000. You don’t actually get any hardware for that price. With the Portl system the $60,000 buys you their hardware which is more for home or office or store use and once you own it you can use it as many times as you want. But it isn’t meant to function as a virtual stage on the web. It is more of a private at home, office or in-store display. ARHT will also sell you their hardware for point to point transmissions but it is pretty pricey too. Not sure how much exactly. I’m thinking the “Holopod” product that is still in development will be used more like the “Portl” product. If anyone else knows for sure please share your thoughts.
