Im fairly new to investing. But from what i know when a company exercises warrants thats not ideal for the sp, it usually drops from what ive experienced in the stocks im in. Didn't they just exercise warrants not too long ago?

Usually it's individuals exercising wts, buying shares from a company's treasury at a pre-arranged price. That transaction puts money into the treasury and shares in the hands of the individual. In Canada, because of our tax law, that individual will likely sell at least a small portion of those shares to cover capital gains taxes, which are triggered immediately the wts are exercised. He
