Why on earth would they grant options exercisable until 2025 above the current sp? It could sink the company, imagine 677550, options at a price of 2.00$ ? That's approx 1.3 mill, which would send the company into a plumitting deficit. Use your heads.

I think you'd see a lot of employees taking an extended vacation. What a wonderful thing for the company to offer such an incentive. But the price of the options must be of a reasonable amount. Of course they are the price going up. But by setting a exercise price at .30 and an sp price of 2.00 is a lost less dilution then a exercise price of 1.50 at an sp of 2.00$ This really dosnt bother me ...more

Doesn't bother me either. Key employess, people we need for success, are worth $$$. This is the right way to 'pay' them. Not big bucks now, big bucks when they've achieve success. Great move.

How else would you want them to get paid for their performance? Like. First of all. In a start up it's very NORMAL. Most start ups offer their employees significant stock option in exchange for smaller salaries due to being a smaller company with great risk of failure. If I was in Larry's position (and if you were too) you'd want all those stock options granted. Would you not?  ...more

Totally agree with you Tannin. Running the options out to 2025 is another smart move by Larry. The fact of the matter is that there is a very limited supply of the type of talent that can drive these types of technology companies forward.
